There’s something undeniably powerful about punk rock, alternative rock, and pop punk as an art form. It triggers a raw kind of emotion — a mix of rebellion, nostalgia, and catharsis — wrapped in distortion, melody, and heart. It’s a feeling that hits you in the chest and stays there.

Hailing from Norway, Another Face in the Crowd was born during a cold, snowy winter in 2022 — a project fueled by a deep love for the music that shaped their youth. Longtime friends Petter Berget (vocals, guitars, bass) and Nicolay Nilsen (drums) reunited after years apart, drawn back together by a shared urgency to create something real.

Having spent their formative years in and around the Norwegian alternative scene, the two have always had a deep connection to the high-energy, emotionally charged world of pop punk and alternative rock. A strong love for music and an inability to live without creating tunes and playing, brought the two of them together again after many years of letting life take its course. 

Another Face in the Crowd brings the raw emotion and nostalgic punch of late-‘90s/early-2000s pop-punk into the now. The band captures the spirit of life, loss, and defiant hope through anthemic hooks and heart-on-sleeve storytelling.

Their songs explore themes of alienation, individuality, the flickering moments that shape us—delivered with a melodic urgency that hits hard and stays with you.
